Day 114 - Oven roasted Brussels sprouts with Pav Bhaji Masala
My spice cabinet is a completely democratic domain, I do not restrict spice blends to only their native recipe applications. (& yes, there are times when I feel like a crazy alchemist, whipping out bottles after bottles, a pinch of this a dash of that... and then reality bites when I have to re-shelve them back!).
This batch of Brussels sprouts sliced in half (2 1/2 cups) is marinaded in 3 tablespoons of olive oil (I used a red pepper infused flavor), 1 teaspoon of Pav bhaji Masala (available in your local Indian grocery) and kosher salt. Toss it into a baking sheet lined with Parchment paper and roast it in the oven for about 15 minutes. Drizzle with lemon and scarf down like popcorn.
