Day 161 - Grilled Paneer and Starfruit Salad
Another one of those extremely satisfying healthy light salad lunches when the temperature outside is sizzling. I love Paneer in any form, be it in a curry with a rich gravy, or battered and deep fried tempura style, scrambled, in a Kofta.. I could go on & on..
Paneer is perfect for grilling, with or without a marinade, just toss the slices on a sizzling grill,flip over the other side after 3 minutes and repeat. That's it, you're done. It complements light fruits that have a hint of tartness in them, strawberries or, as in this case Star fruit / Carambola.
No recipe required, dice the grilled Paneer and the star fruit, toss with a bit of lime juice, salt and pepper. Garnish with chopped cilantro, or don't! doesn't matter. If you're adventurous, substitute the salt and pepper with a dash of Chat masala!
