Jan 31 - home made Paneer


Back to Basics - as much fun as it is to go crazy with new dishes daily, there comes a time when you want to just go back to basics , kind of like rehearsing music. the notes, the raag, you get the picture. This particular paneer making session was originally intended to be mozzarella, but I chickened out at the last minute and poured a cup of lime juice rather than the microbial rennet tablets. Some day,  some day I'll eventually conquer the art of making perfectly stringy mozzarella.
In the mean time there are two recipes for  plain & spiced paneer.
