Feb 10 - Savory Jaffle Iron pie with spiced potatoes.


The versatility of the Jaffle iron cannot be overestimated. It seems all you need is two pieces of just about anything made from a dough containing gluten (I haven't experimented with gluten free bread and dough, so can't comment), and a filling, and I mean almost ANYTHING.
This was made using the classic potatoes used for Masala Dosa, Layer it between two slices of Italian bread, and toast it to crispy perfection on the stove top.
