Apr 9 - Alu matar with fresh black eyed peas

I think I'm on a 'peas' mission, the second green pea dish in as many days. This had more of Fresh Black eyed peas than the generic green peas in the recipe. It turns out that the Indian Grocery store was selling these rather short yard long beans as 'Indian long beans). and the beans were rather mature and not suitable for stir frying. The next time I went grocery shopping, I recruited the kids to pick the fattest, driest and yellow looking beans they could spot. Sure enough I had enough to harvest a meals worth. Coupled with these almost pea sized fingerling potatoes, this was a surefire hit of a dish at home.
