Day 62 - Makki di Roti / Punjabi Corn Flatbread (Bread)


Bread doesn't always have to be yeasted and baked. This month's bread is an unleavened flatbread.
Makki di roti  is probably the most iconic flatbread from Punjabi cuisine. Rustic, homely & filling, It seldom graces restaurant tables, but nothing compares to a hearty meal of this bread paired with creamy 'Sarson da Saag' (creamed Mustard greens)
