Jan 7 - Simple plain Poha

Poha (Pohe, Aval) or flattened rice is to many an Indian household (especially in the Western & Southern states) what a box of generic pasta is to the American home. You barely acknowledge it when its sitting in your pantry, but the minute you don't, It's like being on the verge of borderline starvation. In the years past, I've posted many many variations of this beloved breakfast, but this version may be as close to the generic classic as possible. Sauteed onions, potatoes, garlic, a handful of crushed peanuts, finished off with a spritz of lime or lemon.
